After a breakout year of sold-out shows and international touring opening for Kelsea Ballerini (AUS), Midnight Til Morning (UK/EU), Maisie Peters (AU) aleksiah returns home to enter her boldest era yet with her third EP Good On Paper. To celebrate, she’s hitting the road for a run of headline shows that promise chaos, catharsis, and absolutely no emotional repression.

How do you know when a tribute act can cut the grade? Whether musically, they can even match the intensity and musicality of the bands they are paying homage to?

Well, you can't really until you have seen them live, but when you factor in that the tribute act features current and former members of bands such as DRAGONFORCE, ANTI-NOWHERE LEAGUE, SINSAENUM, and BREED 77, then you at least know the pedigree is there.

After GoTOurComeBack in 2025 - his most successful post WPA tour yet - Mick decided to change things up a bit. GoSoloComeBack is a chance to present a bunch of songs in a different light - a chance to reconnect with a truckload of old tunes and keep moving forward on some newies.

For nearly all shows Mick will be presenting two sets on his own providing an extensive exploration of a career as intriguing  as it is enduring.

A 95bFM review called the band’s Whammy show “a sold out countrygaze extravaganza”, and everyone who came left with big hearts and even bigger smiles. Now, with the band’s unbelievable sixth album Bleeds out in the world, it’s high time that Banished Music and Strange News had their fun pals from Asheville down for a repeat visit, with three shows across Wellington, Lyttelton, and Auckland happening this May.
