For one night only, Amazing Silent Disco rolls into the UniBar in Wollongong for a party that's all about the music, the people and the decades that defined us.

When North Carolina’s noise makers Wednesday first visited Aotearoa off the

back of their album RAT SAW GOD, audiences were taken by surprise in the

best possible way. A 95bFM review called the band’s Whammy show “a sold out

countrygaze extravaganza”, and everyone who came left with big hearts and

even bigger smiles.

Now, with the band’s unbelievable sixth album Bleeds out in the world, it’s high

time that Banished Music and Strange News had their fun pals from Asheville

down for a repeat visit, with three shows across Wellington, Lyttelton, and

Aotearoa’s very own Queen of Disco, Lou’ana, has today released her highly-anticipated sophomore album, aptly titled DISCO WITCH, alongside a corresponding New Zealand tour to celebrate.

Rooted in nu-disco, soul, and funk, Lou’ana weaves nostalgic grooves with her own stories, creating music that moves through dance, liberation, and personal healing.

Earlier this year, Lou’ana revealed ‘side b’ of the album, by way of the five-track SO BELOW EP. Now she completes the full picture with ‘side a’, AS ABOVE.
