Sydney trio EGOISM return with Catching Up / YOLO, their first new music since last year’s Top 10 ARIA Australian Album And Go Nowhere, alongside the announcement of their biggest headline shows to date.

Self described as “just a local band from Sydney”, EGOISM have quietly built something much bigger. They sold out their album tour, hit Number 9 on the Australian ARIA Chart, Number 10 on Vinyl Chart, and Number 1 on AIR Chart, toured with Teenage Dads and The Rions, and started the year at Beyond The Valley. EGOISM’s new track, Catching Up/YOLO, starts a new chapter for the band, grounding itself in the everyday realities of Sydney life and the quiet pressure to be more settled, more successful, more certain. A song about measuring yourself against invisible timelines, with equal parts self awareness and irreverence.
