Stellar Moon is powerful Nyikina artist weaving songlines, story and spirit through a rich fusion of soul, roots, blues and funk. Opening the evening is another Kimberley gem, Marni Dascha.
Marni grew up immersed in live music, joining her dad's local bands as lead vocalist while still in high school. Around the same time, she began writing her own original songs, developing a sound shaped by blues, roots, reggae and rock.
Now based between Broome and Perth while studying at WAAPA, Marni is quickly establishing herself as one of the Kimberley's exciting emerging artists. Her powerful voice effortlessly shifts from silky smooth to raw and gritty, delivering performances filled with honesty, soul and unmistakable presence.
