We will be hosting a poetry open mic bonanza! come on down to the Rechabite basement and give us your words to sip on.
You will have the delight of reading with the accompaniment of our musician of the night! So take on the stage and connect in rage or glory
our theme of the night...
Scratch! Is there a spot on your back you just can't reach? does your cat's claw have a particular vendetta against your couch? Are you a gardener that never remembers their god damn gloves?
pieces of work based on the theme is far from mandatory but if you do so feel like it or need a writing prompt, go nuts! though we are happy for any words you'd desire sharing with us.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Tickets. If you are attending a ticketed event, please have your tickets ready to scan on entry.
Bring ID.
The Rechabite is a licensed venue and you may be asked for a valid ID at the entrance.
Anyone unable to provide ID may be refused entry.
The Rechabite has a zero-tolerance approach to harassment, discriminatory, or anti-social behaviour. Please be kind to one another. If you see or experience anything that makes you feel unsafe please speak to our staff.
The venue reserves the right to refuse admission to any person.
Intoxicated persons will not be admitted.
Guests Under 18
U18 guests must be directly supervised at all times by their own parent or legally certified guardian and must exit the venue by 10PM.
Both must hold a valid ticket to the event.
Siblings, Nominated Adults, or Family Members under the age of 25 years will not be accepted as legal guardians.
Age Suitability rules apply: if the event has a minimum age (e.g. 16+), anyone younger cannot attend, even with a parent/guardian.
No refunds will be issued if entry is refused for failing to meet these guidelines.
