Blah Records: A Day Trip in Christchurch ft. Black Josh, Lee Scott & Sly Moon

To celebrate 20 years of Blah Records, the label are dispatching Black Josh and Lee Scott to the South Pacific for a run of shows serving as the first outing for their forthcoming joint album “It Made Sense At The Time”. Along for the ride is frequent collaborator, fellow Cult Of The Damned member and Blah Records compatriot Sly Moon.

After the wild success of their last sold out show in Ōtautahi its clear that the demand is well and truly high so be sure to suss yourself a ticket or risk missin it!

This is the only show in Aotearoa so if ya wanna catch em best be buying flights!

Blah Records heavy hitters Lee Scott, Black Josh & Sly Moon are without a doubt some of the most formidable lyricists in the underground UK hip hop scene.

With an undeniable cult following that spans across the globe, Blah Records is bringing us a taste of the dark and witty madness they are known so well for.

Lee Scott AKA Leezus reps a uniquely intelligent style of “Gonzo Lyricism” sharp, hard hitting, fuckin hilarious. Co founder of the legendary BLAH records, Lee has achieved absolute don status with a long and impressive history of contributions to the UK rap world with over fifty releases across his discography.

Hailed as a "Manchester cult hero" and a "lyrical maverick” Black Josh has been part of some HUGE rap groups: Cult of the Damned, Levelz and The Mouse Outfit to name a few. With a solid mix of high energy and low pace head nod tunes, Josh is easily one of the best at what he does.

Joining us for his first ever show in NZ - Sly Moon is known for his laid-back delivery, off-kilter lyricism, and hazy, sample-heavy production choices. His sound leans into the Blah Records signature raw and experimental aesthetic, blending dry humour with introspective and often surreal bars,

Show supports TBA in the coming weeks.
