Country and Americana stars THE PLEASURES are bringing their brand new album and explosive live show to Bootlegger in March!

Fronted by the magnetic pairing of Catherine Britt and Lachlan Bryan— two of Australia’s most revered voices in Americana and roots music—it's impossible not to get swept up in their chemistry, tension, and undeniable charm. The Pleasures are carving their own path.

The Pleasures have quickly become one of the most talked-about new acts in the country. The sound is gritty and blues-inspired, and the subject matter ranges from bold and bawdy to heartfelt and insightful. Debut record THE BEGINNING OF THE END set the scene, but their follow-up  ENEMY OF MY ENEMY delivers even more hook-laden, guitar-driven, emotionally charged goodness. It made its debut on the ARIA Country Album Chart at No 3, was the FEATURE ALBUM on ABC Country and clocked high rotation on radio across the globe, including Double J radio, and is racking up streams at a rapid pace.

In three short years, The Pleasures have toured in Australia, the USA, and the EU, been nominated for 6 Golden Guitar Awards, 3 of them recently for Best Group, Best Alt Country Album and Best Album and played a plethora of major festivals and packed bandrooms.

“The Pleasures burned the stage down with country rock that sounds like they should own Nashville, Austin and Memphis’.  - Doug Hill - Oklahoma Transcript USA

‘The harmonies are excellent throughout as the voices work in the Krauss Plant kind of vibe- 4 Stars’ The Daily Express UK

‘A powerful and raw album of duets with roots in timeless classical American music. The consistent musical atmosphere, the solid narrative and the duo's ability to bring the characters to life. "Enemy Of My Enemy" is country blues with hypnotic melodies. A fantastic combination of vocals, piano, bass, and guitar sounds’-  Dirty Rock Magazine- Spain

‘Very sharp lyric writing and ear-catching arrangements’ David Harley – Folking.Com UK
