Our setlist centres around the Blues. Why?
Because it's the mother of all jazz, soul and rock.
We're inspired by everyone from the great Delta Bluesmen in the 1930s, `40s and `50s, through to those that made their way north to Chicago and electrified the Blues in the `50s and `60s. You hear those Blues changes driving many legendary soul and Motown hits of the same era, and we're right there. We're also passionate about British Blues, that re-interpreted and played it back from the other side of the Atlantic. The Blues underlies much of the classic UK and US 70s rock so many of us know and love. It continues to echo in the Blues rock and modern Blues we choose to play today.
That's our vibe. And of course, it's gotta groove…
We are honoured to be joined by special guest keyboardist Sam McNally. Sam has worked with the great Aussie vocalist John Farnham, with 80’s super group Air Supply, guitar genius Tommy Emmanuel, Tim Finn (Crowded House), Seals & Croft, Marcia Hines, Richard Clapton and American R&B singer/bassist Doug Williams among others. Sam was also the keyboardist for the 70s Soul/Funk band STYLUS featuring lead singer Peter Cupples.
