Davey Lane x The Vasco Era

To coincide with their performances at Gumball Festival The Vasco Era and Davey Lane are performing an intimate, one of a kind co-headline sideshow at La La La’s in Wollongong.

For over 20 years as the guitarist for You Am I and collaborations with the likes of Todd Rundgren, Crowded House, Jimmy Barnes, Robyn Hitchcock and more, Davey Lane has a rock’n’roll pedigree that is second to none. His solo career with his band illuminates why he is so highly regarded by so many musical greats as he forges onward with his own inspired and eclectic musical path.

After thirteen years out of the studio, Melbourne/Surf Coast band The Vasco Era (Sid O’Neil, Ted O’Neil and Michael Fitzgerald) are back. Following standout albums ‘Oh We Do Like to Be Beside the Seaside’ (2007), ‘Lucille’ (2009), and ‘The Vasco Era’ (2011), the band return with a new album produced by long-time collaborator Greg Rietwyk (Lunchroom Records), capturing their raw energy with renewed focus.
