Emerging from the Bay Area punk scene, GREEN DAY achieved mainstream success with their 1994 album Dookie, which sold millions of copies and helped revive popular interest in punk rock. Known for their catchy melodies, energetic performances, and lyrics that range from personal themes to political commentary, the band reached another creative high with the rock opera American Idiot, which spawned hit singles including Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Wake Me Up When September Ends and Holiday and was later adapted into a Broadway musical. Over the decades, Green Day has remained one of the most influential and commercially successful punk rock bands in the world and Basket Case strive to give you the next best thing to seeing the real deal LIVE!
