Duke of George presents
Noria Letts performs Edith Piaf
Acclaimed French chanteuse Noria Letts brings the verve, swing and excitement of a Parisian jazz club every time she hits the stage. Totally authentic with a rich soulful voice, Noria has performed in clubs across France, Canada and NYC and is now based in Australia. Noria is renowned for takes on both jazz and Parisian street music, singing fluently in French, English and Portuguese from the Brazilian songbook. She delves into classics from one of the great epochs of modern music - in this show, Noria channels Edith Piaf, with an original narration and production she scripted.
Noria regularly performs to sell out audiences at leading music venues such as Bird’s Basement and the Paris Cat in Melbourne, Sydney’s Foundry 616 and the Brisbane Jazz Club. She has headed the bill at festivals including the Bastille Day French Festivals in Melbourne and Sydney and the OZ Manouche Festival.
Noria was also honoured to sing La Marseillaise in front of a crowd of 80-thousand and a global TV audience before the Australia-France football international at Melbourne’s Marvel stadium.
