The Westgarth Wailers are a wonderfully talented group of singers who have spent the year cultivating the most beautiful sound. They meet every Monday night, bringing joy, humour and heart to every rehearsal. Now they're excited to share this special selection of songs with you.

Led by singer-songwriter and choir director Stella Cain, the Westgarth Wailers are excited to showcase all they have been working on.

Smith St Hotel Weekender kicks off with a stacked celebration of some of Naarm's finest emerging and established voices. From Cool Sounds' effortlessly melodic indie pop and Bananagun's psychedelic groove, to the beautifully idiosyncratic charm of Mouseatouille, the heartfelt songwriting of kisses, and standout sets from Piggietails and Babyccino, Friday is a carefully curated showcase of the city's vibrant underground.

Charlie Farmer is an indie rock artist making waves out of Newcastle, NSW. Backed by his band, Charlie takes inspiration from bands like Hockey Dad and Fool Nelson. Known for his captivating live performances, Charlie has been building a loyal following in Newcastle even selling out local venues such as Shout Brewing for their Great Southern Nights event. He’s also been seen playing iconic venues all over the state such as the Hoey Moey in Coffs Harbour, and Bootleggers in Sydney.
