And so it came to be that Australian Crawl, after its fashion, in February 1986, came to and end. It was a wrap. It was time. A wind-up. A sign-off. A relief. A joy. Funny. Sometimes slightly sad but resolute. A swan-song. A kiss-off; a sign-off; under the belt, on the wagon and headed for the barn. Put to bed, wiped up, wiped out, cleaned up, mopped up, polished and polished off. That was all folks, that was all she ever wrote.

Brisbane punk lifers Dune Rats return to their roots with the OLD MATES Tour - a run of intimate underplay shows through the pubs and coastal rooms where it all began.

Daniel Muggleton continues to be one of Australia’s most in-demand comedians despite no media attention of any kind. 

In 2025, Rolling Stone named him a ‘Must-See Show’ at Edinburgh Fringe. He spent the rest of the year selling out shows around Australia, copping critical-acclaim and seriously offending two people in Perth… but they were wearing lanyards in a social setting. So I guess they got what they came for?
