Revolve Festival lands in Sydney this January long weekend for its second addition! A full-scale multi-stage takeover celebrating the sounds that define Australia’s new wave of electronic music.  
 

It’s been 25 years since the release of Teenage Dirtbag, and somehow Wheatus’ iconic debut single is bigger than ever. To mark the milestone, the band are heading back to Australia and New Zealand for 11 massive shows January 2026, performing their debut album each night. Fans can also expect requests from across their three-decade career, a cherished tradition at Wheatus headline shows for almost 20 years. It’s a joy to behold. See for yourself.

Naarm-based Flamenco Fusion combo MALCURA are excited to be celebrating the release of their new single, “The Aether”, at Shotkickers on 23 January 2026 with very special guests, MAGGIE ALLEY, MISHTO! COLLECTIVE and FAMILY DOG!

"The Aether" is a lively and upbeat shot of acoustic adrenaline, which showcases Malcura’s signature musical blend of upbeat Spanish guitars with a diverse range of driving rhythms and, for the first time in the band’s career, lyrics!

Sydney audiences are in for a night of soulful rhythms and island vibes as Paulo Almeida & Band, The Lazy Beans, and Livenroots take the stage for a special live performance.

To celebrate the release of their new single ‘Reasons’, Bootleg Rascal, will once again head out for another lap around the country, performing cuts from their new album and past discography alike. 

Alexander Flood is one of Australia’s commanding beat-masters, possessing a finessed arsenal of groove, power, and expertise on the drums. His unique sound and approach on the instrument has been crafted through the many years of study, training and dedication to music. Leading his band from the drum chair, Alex’s music pushes a fresh rhythmic and dynamic realm of live dance music leaning on nu-jazz, house, broken beat, DnB, funk and experimental sounds.
