UK producer Daniel Avery is an auteur of otherworldly club sounds, with 2025 release Tremors, he went back to his roots, sending his distinctive production style through wraithlike guest vocals, textured distortion, and fuzz-buried melody. Additionally the recent remix album Tremors (Midnight Versions), goes full circle and sends the whole project back into dark, big room club territory.

CHAT PILE

Sludgy noise superstars CHAT PILE have announced their first ever Australia & New Zealand tour for June 2026. Fusing elements of post-punk, nu metal, grunge, they have earned a cult following for their eclectic take on what they simply deem ‘noise rock.’

Formed in 2019, the band took their name from piles of chat, byproducts of mining which are commonly found throughout northeast Oklahoma. Their adopted stage names Raygun Busch, Luther Manhole, Stin and Cap’n Ron were conjured as a way of avoiding identification from previous employers.

There are few contemporary electronic artists building worlds as meticulously, or as strangely, as Iglooghost. Across more than a decade of releases, he has positioned himself not simply as a producer but as a world-builder, constructing dense fictional ecosystems where sound, image, and narrative operate as a single organism. His work resists easy categorisation, moving freely between experimental club music, abrasive electronics, surreal storytelling, and avant-garde performance.
