Adelaide is set to be hit by a wall of sound as Downpour Festival lands at UniBar Adelaide, delivering a large-scale, full-day showcase of heavy alternative music built on atmosphere, groove, and power.

Headlined by Mammal, Downpour Festival brings together a lineup that blends heavy alternative with progressive influence and modern edge — driven by big riffs, dynamic songwriting, and emotionally charged performances.

Game Four brings another showdown — and this time, the stakes are climbing.

Teams (to be announced) will take to the track under the lights in a night packed with entertainment, crowd energy, and high-impact roller derby. Whether it’s a fun exhibition or a fierce VCR clash, expect big hits, fast laps, and plenty of drama on eight wheels.

Two heavyweights of the Australian soul-blues-rock scene 8 Ball Aitken & Taya Chani have teamed up with a new album project ‘Nightbird’. They represented the Blues Association of South-East Queensland at the 2026 International Blues Challenge and made the semifinals.They are taking their Blues, Soul and Slide-Guitar Roadshow around Australia for the rest of the year with special guests.
