Strange Universe: Winter! Set to ramp up the stakes and take over all of June and a tiny little bit of the end of May. This first line-up announcement has everything you could set your hearts on and more, and is happening across some of Tāmaki Makaurau’s most beloved venues.

‘Touched by Grace’ - join world renowned NYC guitarist Gary Lucas and Australian artist Katie Noonan as they explore the music of Jeff Buckley and share new writing collaborations. 

Gary co-wrote the opening tracks of Jeff’s seminal masterpiece album - Mojo Pin and Grace - and alongside these works and others, Gary and Katie will present songs from Gary and Jeff’s band ‘Gods and Monsters’ and their recently co-written compositions.

This marks the Australian debut of Saul Williams meets Carlos Niño, a live collaboration that sits between concert, ceremony and collective listening.

Conceived as a live, improvised work, the project brings together spoken word, ambient jazz and experimental sound in a form that rejects fixed structure. Described as a sound ceremony, it unfolds organically, shaped by environment, musicians and moment rather than setlist or song.

The national tour takes place this coming May and June, and includes stops in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth,  in support of their acclaimed debut album Portal.

Nathan Cavaleri brings his unmistakable blend of swagger blues, rock and folk to the stage in a show that’s both stripped back and amped up—intimate yet explosive.

From world tours at age 8 and performing with B.B. King, Jimmy Barnes, and Diesel to rediscovering his fire after stepping away from fame, Nathan’s performances are charged with the spirit of a life fully lived. Between songs, he shares stories of his journey—moments that turn the show into a real, human experience.
